Unit: 26-bed Med-Surg (Meditech) with Alaris pumps; charge nurse, unit secretary (days), and 2 PCTs

Ratios: 1:6 or team nursing up to 1:9

Schedule/Float:
Every other weekend; may float to other Med-Surg units

Certs required: BLS + ACLS

Patient experience expectations:
Hourly purposeful rounding, AIDET, mandatory bedside shift report
