Location:

Dickson, TN 37055 – Top Tennessee healthcare facility near Nashville, with access to parks and vibrant local culture.

Assignment Length:

13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date:

January 12, 2026

End Date:

April 13, 2026

Setting:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Main Building

Shift:

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Hours per Week:

36

Schedule:

Every other weekend required

Unit Details:

6-bed ICU, patient ratios 2:1 (some 1:1 and 3:1), latest GE ICU monitors, Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG, Meditech documentation

Dress Code:

Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary:

$1470 - $1570

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required

Certifications:

ACLS, PALS, BLS (all required for ICU nursing jobs)

Strong critical thinking and clinical communication skills

Ability to float to ICU overflow unit as needed

ICU Nursing Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 6-bed ICU

Perform and assist with procedures: central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, intubation

Utilize advanced ICU equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG

Document patient care using Meditech EMR

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurse techs and unit secretaries

Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines

Deliver excellent patient and family communication and support
