ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Dickson, Tennessee

• Location: Dickson, TN 37055 – Top Tennessee healthcare facility near Nashville, with access to parks and vibrant local culture.
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Main Building
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Unit Details: 6-bed ICU, patient ratios 2:1 (some 1:1 and 3:1), latest GE ICU monitors, Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG, Meditech documentation
• Dress Code: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, PALS, BLS (all required for ICU nursing jobs)
• Strong critical thinking and clinical communication skills
• Ability to float to ICU overflow unit as needed

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 6-bed ICU
• Perform and assist with procedures: central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, intubation
• Utilize advanced ICU equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurse techs and unit secretaries
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines
• Deliver excellent patient and family communication and support
