American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent ICU experience and current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

• 6-bed ICU unit with patient ratios mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1
• Unit supported by 1 nurse tech
• Uses Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG equipment
• Documentation via Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Works every other weekend
• Floats to ICU overflow unit as needed

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills required
• Experience with procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
• No work history gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

• Care for critically ill ICU patients with varying acuity levels
• Facility recognized as one of the highest-ranking in the HCA network for quality and staff engagement
• Newest GE ICU monitors in use with expanding service lines and acuity
• Facility has newly approved ICU expansion that will double ICU capacity
• Dress code requires Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
• Unit-specific policies and guidelines provided during facility educator onboarding
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
