Major Function and Scope :- TroubleshootPLCs(Programmable Logic Controller ) usinghandhelddeviceorlaptop.
- Designandredesignprogramandsoftware(PLCs,operatorpanels,etc).
- Formatharddrivesandinstalltothecomputers(Computer Setup) andPCapplication.
- Installs,maintainsorrepairsequipmentforthegeneration,distributionorutilizationofelectricalenergyinamanufacturingenvironment.
- Locatesanddiagnosistroubleinelectricalsystemsorequipmentworkingfromblueprints,drawings,layoutsorotherspecifications.
- Worksstandardcomputationsrelatedtoloadrequirementsofwiringand/orelectricalequipment.
- Knowledge of Serialportcommunicationsystems,VFDs(Variable Frequency Drives ) andprocesscontrolinstrumentationdevices(thermocouples, pressureswitches,etc).
- Knowledge of Servomotorsanddriveunits.
- Continuouslyreviewingtheirrespectiveareaforideasandthoughtsthatwilldriveproductivityandreducecostswithintheorganizationandbeabletoprofessionallyspeaktotheirsolutionforimprovement.
- Processimprovement(Planandsubmitprocessimprovementsandexecutetheplan).
- Usesavarietyofelectricianstoolsincludingmeasuringandtestinginstruments.
- Processimprovement(Planandsubmitprocessimprovementsandexecutetheplan).
- Leadsprojectsandcompletesthemsuccessfully,returningequipmenttoproductionoperatingsafelyandefficiently.
- Keepsworkareasafe,cleanandorganized.
- Performsotherrelateddutiesasrequired.
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalentexperience.
Knowledgeofelectricalcode. - Associatedegreeinindustrialelectronicspreferred.
- 4ormoreyearsindustrialmaintenanceexperienceand2yearsindustrialelectricalexperience.
FormalPCLtrainingpreferred. - Basiccomputerknowledge(Microsoft Office).
Abilitytoreadblueprints.
AbilitytotroubleshootelectricalsystemsandPLCs.Abilitytoscore
80% orbetteronthe
Industrial
Maintenanceexam.
Abilitytoreadandunderstandproceduresin English.
Abilitytotestmotorsandelectricalcircuitsusingavoltmeterandampmeter.
IndepthknowledgeofLGVequipmentandoperation.
