B&G Equipment and Supply is seeking a driver for our construction equipment rental division. The role offers a minimum hourly wage of $25.00/hour, with the potential to earn more based on your experience and skills. All benefits, including health, dental, vision, and 401k, start on your first day of employment.
- Maintain all required records
- Check accuracy and stability of the load
- Deliver products to customers
- Invoice and collect monies due
- Pick up company property
- Secure company assets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to diagnose malfunction or to consider road worthiness or jobsite worthiness
- Check and ensure that vehicles and equipment are maintained in accordance with maintenance schedules
- Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, tools, and the general shop area
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years of general work experience required
- 3+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
- 1+ years of rental industry driving experience preferred
- Local delivery experience preferred
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). to work with minimal supervision
- Valid Class A Driver's License and driving record within MVR policy guidelines required
- HAZMAT certification preferred
