The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments within the Accounting & Finance department. This role requires strong attention to detail and organisational skills to support the smooth operation of accounts payable functions.

Description- Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and data entry into the accounting system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process payment runs in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries and provide payment updates.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update internal systems as required.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reporting and reconciliations.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies at all times.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance-related role.
- A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- A competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £29,000 per annum.
