About the Role

We are seeking an Inclusion Lead to secure great outcomes for our students and support the development of inclusion policy, reviewing provision and building staffing expertise in areas of secondary inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support inclusion policy and review provision.
  • Provide high quality in-class support and deliver small group and 1:1 interventions as directed.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion Team to ensure effective support for all students.
  • Maintain resilience, stamina and reliability under pressure to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
  • Coordinate assessments, advice and provision with external agencies such as Educational Psychologists, SALT, CAMHS, Local Authority SEND teams and BIO.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A qualified SENDCo with evidence of continued professional development.
  • Experience in secondary inclusion and familiarity with relevant statutory and best practice frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with external agencies.
