Careers Advisor; Apprenticeship

The role of the Careers Advisor is to support with the implementation of the school strategy for developing a careers programme for the school that meets all eight of the Gatsby benchmarks of good practice and prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment. Primarily the postholder will be undertaking impactful guidance sessions with Year 11 students at the two RET secondary schools;
Didcot Girls’ School and St Birinus School.

The annual salary at Grade 2 Point 2 (fte £25,614.00)

30 hours per week, term time only would be £17,413.26

This position is for 30 hours per week (4 days per week working 08:30-16:30 with daily 30 min unpaid break) during term time with very occasional out of hours and holiday work. There is the possibility of a job-share arrangement. You will be based at the two secondary schools within the Trust.
