You'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.Your new roleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of the full commercial function for a high-profile highways project.
Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage budgets, cost control, and subcontractor relationships while ensuring compliance with NEC contracts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Procuring subcontract packages and compiling tender documentation
- Administering contracts and handling variations, delays, and claims
- Preparing monthly applications for payment and forecasting cash flow
- Leading commercial meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
- Establishing and managing project budgets with accurate cost reporting
This is a pivotal role where your expertise will directly influence project success.What you'll need to succeedTo thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Proven experience in senior commercial roles within highways or heavy civils
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and cost control processes
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and build client trust
