Planner, Engineering, Civil Engineering

Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior Planner who is experienced in planning for civil works, to join our Strategic Projects team. Your strategic insight and technical know-how will ensure that every programme is robust, regularly monitored and updated to suit the needs of each project. In this dynamic and influential role, you'll be at the heart of project planning, ensuring programmes are realistic, achievable, and aligned with client expectations.

• Develop and produce fully logic linked and integrated 'bid winning' tender programmes comprising the design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover strategies that are compliant with tender requirements, design and chosen methodology without assistance.
• Visiting sites regularly to provide hands‑on planning support and resolve challenges.
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks early, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
• Providing expert planning advice across multiple projects, influencing outcomes and driving excellence.

• Proven project planning experience.
• Detailed knowledge of using planning software, Primavera P6 / Asta Power project.
• Experience with working on NEC/JCT contract types.
• Experience of working on Civils, Aviation or highways projects.
• Degree qualified (or holds an equivalent qualification).
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
