Bennett & Game are proud to be partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy who are seeking a Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to join their growing team based in Didcot.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner looking to further develop their technical and commercial capabilities within a highly regarded consultancy environment. The consultancy operates across multiple disciplines including Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying and Geomatics, delivering innovative solutions to clients across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK.

- Prepare site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre-application advice
- Produce Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Undertake traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments
- Analyse transport and traffic data to support development proposals
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams
- Attend project meetings and stakeholder consultations
- Support planning applications and development projects from inception through to approval
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality transport planning solutions
- Assist in developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Promote the consultancy's professional reputation through high-quality service delivery
Job Requirements
- Degree qualified in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline
- Consultancy experience within Transport Planning
- Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Proficient in industry-standard traffic modelling and junction assessment software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with clients, local authorities and project stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to project delivery
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation
- Experience in highway design
- Experience undertaking or supporting Road Safety Audits
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
