• Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team of engineers developing satellite telecommunication payloads for a variety of orbits and missions.
• Flow down of subsystem requirements to the FPGAs.
• Perform FPGA verification for high reliability space systems.
• Architect, design and implement complex designs with Microchip FPGAs for space applications.
• Develop IP blocks for AMD SoCs.

• 10+ years’ experience in an FPGA engineering role in the space or an equivalent high‑reliability sector.
• Good understanding of FPGA technology for space.
• Experience with VHDL and System Verilog.
• Experience with FPGA design tools including Vivado, Model Sim and Libero.
• Understanding of digital communications and DSP.
• Leadership of complex FPGA projects.
• Specialist knowledge in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
  • High‑reliability design and analysis (space, military, automotive, etc).
  • Knowledge of LEO/GEO communications payloads.
  • Signal integrity analysis.
