Senior Project Manager (HV Substations)

Location: Didcot (Major Project in Lancaster)

I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure and energy business seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major GIS high-voltage substation project from concept through to commissioning.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical power infrastructure that supports the UK's energy transition.

You'll take full responsibility for project delivery, ensuring performance against programme, budget, safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of a major HV substation project.
• Managing NEC4 contracts, change control, compensation events, and commercial performance.
• Overseeing construction activities and subcontractor management within HV environments.
• Driving programme delivery, cost control, risk management, and reporting.
• Acting as the primary interface between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.
