The OpportunityMP Recruitment are supporting an innovative and growing medical technology/manufacturing business in Oxfordshire with the recruitment of a Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on engineer who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, equipment servicing and solving technical problems within a busy laboratory, cleanroom, manufacturing and facilities environment.
Working within a highly regulated medical device environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety and compliance of laboratory equipment, cleanroom facilities, utilities and building services.
The role is primarily site-based with little or no travel, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of a varied range of equipment and facilities within a modern technical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on laboratory, production, cleanroom and facilities equipment
- Diagnose faults, coordinate repairs and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime
- Maintain and manage preventative maintenance schedules
- Coordinate external contractors, engineers and specialist service providers
