Vehicle Technician

Overview

Our client, a franchise-approved service centre in the Banbury area, is looking to hire a fully qualified Vehicle Technician for their busy Service Department.

• Carry out fault diagnosis, service and repair as instructed to the standards laid down by the manufacturer and the client.
• Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Service Manager on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.
• Ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by the client and manufacturer are followed at all times.

• Qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum).
• Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points; be committed and a good team player.
• Ability to produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealership environment and work toward team targets.
• An active MOT licence or qualifications to Master Technician level highly advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided.
• Willingness to commute within a reasonable distance of Banbury.

• Salary:
  Up to £40,000 per annum plus bonuses (potentially £43,000+ annual on-target earnings) and benefits.
• Hours:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm.
