The team delivers the full breadth of primary care services, from routine appointments and chronic disease management to urgent care and preventative health, ensuring every patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate support. Working closely with operational managers and senior leadership, the team oversees patient care delivery, appointment coordination, clinical record management, and service performance monitoring.

The practice ensures that all services remain aligned with NHS standards and regulatory requirements, while upholding a commitment to delivering accessible, patient-centred care to the Kidlington community.

To deliver high-quality, autonomous, evidence-based nursing care in a clinical setting. The Experienced Nurse plays a key role in complex patient assessments, long‑term condition management, clinical decision‑making, and supporting operational excellence. The role significantly contributes to patient safety, service quality, clinical leadership, and the mentoring of less experienced colleagues.

PML is a successful not-for-profit, GP‑led organisation providing various NHS community and primary care clinical services to patients across Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. We have evolved as a NHS healthcare provider since 2004 and in the last few years have grown significantly, now employing around 300 staff with a turnover of circa £16m. PML holds GMS contracts, as well as being a GP Federation representing circa 50 GP practices covering approximately 650,000 patients.

• Undertakes comprehensive nursing assessments, clinical observations and treatment plans within professional scope.
• Manages a caseload of patients autonomously, including those with complex needs or long-term conditions.
• Provides advanced wound care, chronic disease monitoring, childhood and adult immunisations, ECGs, cervical screening, and other enhanced skills (depending on competency).
