We are looking for a highly motivated organic chemist with a background in synthetic organic / lipid chemistry to join our chemistry team in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, UK. The successful candidate will be part of the chemistry team and synthesize lipids as it relates to Neo Vac’s novel Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) technology.

• Designing and synthesis of lipid molecules independently.
• Designing, implementing, and managing high standards of laboratory safety.
• Research relevant scientific literature and chemical databases.
• Reporting and presenting R&D discoveries.

• Ph.D. in organic chemistry or chemical biology; or M.S. with 1-3 years of relevant R&D experience.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as NMR, LC-MS, HPLC etc.
• Solid knowledge in synthetic organic chemistry.
• Lipid synthesis & characterization would be beneficial.
