Overview
A large research organisation in South Oxfordshire is looking for an experienced stores person to support its busy goods‑in and logistics function. This role is based at a storage facility near Didcot and will include deliveries to a site near Harwell.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, record, and allocate incoming goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records and perform general warehouse duties.
- Prepare and dispatch items to the off‑site facility and the Harwell site.
- Use initiative and problem‑solving skills to handle varied tasks independently.
- Previous goods‑in, stock control and general warehousing experience.
- Good understanding of goods receipt and dispatch administration.
- Valid driving licence, with experience driving a 7.5‑ton vehicle preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Contract:
6‑month initial period, extendable up to 3 years. - Immediate start required.
