Warehouse Operative

Position Overview

As a member of our warehouse team you will undertake challenging and rewarding work and play a pivotal role in ensuring we fulfil our customers' needs.

This role will be paid weekly.

Our Booker Retail Partners site in Didcot is a 245,000 sq ft, modern, multi-temperature food service site. There is also great scope for training, development and progression within the company.

Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Sunday and Thursday, alternating early and late day shifts one week each: 06:00‑14:00 (the early day shift) and 14:00‑22:00 (the late day shift).

• The picking, packing and loading of customer food orders for delivery.
• Processing goods effectively and efficiently.
• Perform stock checks as and when necessary.
• Replenish the distribution centre with goods in stock.
• Perform necessary hygiene checks.

• Basic understanding of Health and Safety.
• Good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Flexible, reliable with a 'can-do' attitude and strong teamwork ethic.

• Previous warehouse experience.
• LLOP or PPT truck experience.
• Counterbalance truck licence or experience.
• FLT licence or experience.

We can only accept candidates over the age of 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beer, wine & spirits, and driving roles.
