Kwanlin Dün First Nation is seeking an Auxiliary On-Call Receptionist to support front desk operations. The role emphasizes client services, multi-tasking, and the ability to manage various administrative duties efficiently.
Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Auxiliary Receptionist plays a vital role in office administration. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, overseeing internal communications, and maintaining the reception environment. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct phone and walk-in inquiries to appropriate contacts
• Maintain and manage the reception area and internal mail
• Provide accurate program information to clients and visitors
• Type, fax, and copy important documents and reports
• Assist in coordinating departmental meetings
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent office experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and client service skills
• Capacity to maintain strict confidentiality
• Understanding of First Nations history as an asset
