Position: Full Time Early Childhood Educator La Ronge
Join the Lac La Ronge Indian Band as a Full Time Early Childhood Educator at Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Centre. Lead curriculum planning while fostering a safe, engaging environment for young children aged 0-6.

This full-time permanent position is based in La Ronge, SK, where you will create and deliver an Early Childhood Program that meets health and safety standards. Collaboration with the Education team and Daycare/Headstart staff is essential to implement cultural programming in Cree language. Engage families through health promotion programs and workshops, acting as a liaison and advocate for your community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize Early Childhood Program Curriculum

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

• Maintain positive relations with clients and education teams

• Implement cultural programming with Daycare/Headstart staff

• Conduct health promotion and community workshops

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent educational background

• Level 3 ECE Diploma required

• Valid First Aid/CPR and WHIMIS certifications preferred

• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiency

• Must have a valid Driver’s License
