Join the Strait Regional Centre for Education as a Teacher Assistant, dedicated to supporting students’ personal and behavioral needs. Make a difference in an inclusive educational environment.
This position offers the opportunity to assist in creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students. You will aid in personal care, behavior management, and instructional support under the guidance of supervising teachers. Your contributions will help cultivate students' self-esteem and promote independent learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate personal care routines for students
• Support behavior management initiatives
• Assist with instructional activities and materials preparation
• Provide supervision during community visits
• Execute additional related duties as required
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Completed certified Teacher Assistant training
• Prior experience in personal care settings
• Current or willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Capability to assist with physical care needs
Play a vital role in the educational journey of students at SRCE.
