Health Information Professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Code and abstract health data to meet national standards

• Verify health records for compliance with regulations

• Release Personal Health Information when authorized

• Conduct basic data analysis for utilization management

• Support functions related to health record information

Requirements:

• Completion of a CHIMA-recognized HIM program

• Valid CHIMA certification and good standing membership

• ICD
10/CCI coding testing may be required

• Regular attendance at work

• Proven ability to perform required duties
