Part Time Airfield Specialist at YQM

This part-time position operates during the winter season, tasked with maintaining airport paved surfaces using heavy equipment, and working 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include snow plowing, runway condition reporting, and emergency response support. Your contributions ensure safe airport operations for travelers during peak winter months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate snow plows, blowers, and heavy equipment

• Maintain airport premises, both airside and ground side

• Report runway conditions (GRF) accurately

• Provide emergency response support as necessary

• Lift equipment and supplies weighing up to 50lbs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Obtain required Airside Vehicle Operators Permit

• Complete GRF training upon hire

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brakes endorsement

• Willingness to work in a structured team environment
