Seasonal Airfield Technician

Position: Seasonal Airfield Technician Role
Become a Seasonal Airfield Technician at the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM). Participate in dynamic winter operations, focusing on snow management and airport maintenance.

This part-time role, based in Dieppe, involves working during the winter months with 12-hour shifts to ensure the airport runs smoothly. You will operate various heavy machinery for snow removal and perform routine maintenance on airport grounds. Your work contributes significantly to the safety and efficiency of passenger travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute snow removal using heavy equipment

• Maintain grounds and paved surfaces of the airport

• Report runway conditions accurately (GRF)

• Assist in emergency situations as needed

• Lift heavy equipment and supplies up to 50lbs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to secure appropriate permits and licenses

• Complete necessary internal training on GRF

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license preferred

• Thrive in a collaborative, outdoor work environment
