Construction Sub Agent, Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join an established contractor delivering projects across the Scottish Highlands.

This is a permanent opportunity for someone with a strong civil engineering background who is comfortable managing site operations, coordinating engineering activities and supporting the successful delivery of projects from start through to completion.

• Support the Site Agent/Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of projects
• Manage and coordinate site teams, engineers and subcontractors
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
• Assist with planning and programming site activities
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors
• Prepare and review RAMS and other site documentation
• Monitor progress and report on project performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
• Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site
• Support quality assurance and maintain accurate site records

We are looking for someone with previous experience working within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
, ideally at Sub Agent level or in a position where you are ready to progress into a Sub Agent role.

• Previous civil engineering/site management experience
• Experience coordinating site teams and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, drawings and specifications
• Good knowledge of health & safety requirements
• Experience with RAMS and site documentation
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Relevant civil engineering or construction qualification
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid qualification would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence

This is a permanent position with an established contractor offering ongoing work across the Scottish Highlands.
