Overview

Behavior Techs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans at a client’s home or in community settings. Behavior Techs help clients acquire a variety of skills from communication and social skills to life skills, while reducing problem behaviors.

Day in the lifeTravel to a client’s home and other community settings to deliver services; work 1:1 with children and adolescents to implement a behavioral plan; incorporate families and caregivers into therapy sessions per the treatment plan; collect detailed data and service notes; receive ongoing support and mentorship from GOALS supervisors; comprehensive training to prepare and maintain RBT credential; benefits for full-time employees (healthcare, dental, life insurance, 401K);

- Passion for helping special needs kids; patience is a must
- Reliable, timely, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to obtain a negative TB test
- Reliable transportation, public or private
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Childcare and/or special needs experience preferred
- Monday–Friday availability preferred
