The Role
Working within a skilled engineering team, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing high-quality products using Solid Works and AutoCAD LT. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two projects are the same, offering the chance to work closely with multiple departments and see your designs brought to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Create accurate 2D and 3D detail and assembly drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD LT.
* Collaborate with Sales, Projects, Purchasing, Production, customers, and suppliers on technical requirements and solutions.
* Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs), CE documentation, and O&M manuals.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Production teams.
* Attend site surveys and support installations when required.
* Ensure all designs comply with Health & Safety standards and customer specifications.
* Support projects from initial concept through to manufacture and installation.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and motivated engineer who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience in a mechanical design engineering role (essential).
* A Mechanical Engineering qualification (desirable).
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to deadlines.
* A professional, self-motivated, and solutions-focused approach.
