Fabrication Supervisor

We're supporting a growing manufacturing business in their search for a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on supervisor with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or production environments who enjoys leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained at all times.

• Supervising daily fabrication activities to ensure production targets are achieved
• Managing workloads, production schedules, attendance, and resource allocation
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of work through production
• Providing leadership, coaching, and support to team members
• Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards
• Investigating and addressing quality issues, defects, and non-conformances
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication processes and working practices
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and process repeatability
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and 5S
• Communicating effectively with management, colleagues, and production teams to ensure operational objectives are met

• Previous supervisory, team leader, or people management experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support a team
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with in fabrication, mechanical engineering, or a similar production environment would be advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a production environment
