Join us in expanding a dynamic portfolio of products under the esteemed Monarch Water and Calmag brands, ensuring that specifications are maintained throughout the ordering process.
You'll have the opportunity to cultivate sales prospects among a diverse group of qualified customers, leveraging our well-established product lines within the Monarch Water and Calmag ranges.
Operating within a defined territory, you'll enhance the product offerings by engaging with both existing accounts and new clients. This role places a strong emphasis on securing End Client Purchase Order Estimates and food service product specifications, while also fostering relationships with M&E, FM, Maintenance, Fit Out contractors, and specialised distribution channels, including catering and key merchant partners such as PTS and BSS.
A critical aspect of your responsibilities will involve identifying and disrupting competitive specifications.
- Gather and maintain product order specifications across defined ranges.
- Craft and present engaging product presentations and Continued Professional Development (CPD) sessions.
- Foster and expand both direct and indirect business relationships with essential partners, including installers and larger M&E contractors.
- Proactively identify and communicate new technologies and opportunities for business growth, attending trade shows and company events as needed.
- Collaborate with Monarch Water and Calmag internal sales teams to establish and enhance specification sales within both new and existing accounts.
- Maintain a strong commercial focus to achieve the company’s targets for both new and existing business as outlined in your set objectives.
- Devise effective sales strategies to outmaneuver competitors and secure new business opportunities.
- Respond to sales leads within 24 hours and promptly follow up on quotations, managing data and generating reports to evaluate wins and losses.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities as requested, pinpointing opportunities and challenges, and strategise accordingly to ensure comprehensive market coverage.
- Keep accurate customer account records up to date using the prescribed company IT systems.
- A solid background in a similar product and sales position.
- Experience in engaging with Merchants, collaborating with stakeholders at various levels within the organisation, and managing Merchant-focused commercial agreements to enhance revenue and profitability for this particular customer segment.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive in taking ownership and delivering outstanding results and customer service.
- Self-assured in decision-making with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Skilled in CRM practices for collecting and acting on customer feedback.
