Project Manager, Estimator, Construction Manager​/ Foreman

A well-established and growing Maryland construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys being involved from pre-construction and estimating through project completion and wants to take on a larger role within a successful organization.

The company has a strong track record of commercial, industrial, civil, municipal, and renovation projects and offers a collaborative, flexible environment where experienced professionals are trusted to manage their responsibilities and make decisions.

• Manage construction projects from bidding/pre-construction through closeout
• Prepare estimates, takeoffs, scopes of work, and bid packages
• Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and owner contracts
• Develop project budgets, schedules, buyouts, and procurement plans
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor proposals
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Monitor project costs, schedules, quality, and overall performance
• Participate in pre-construction and progress meetings
• Help identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings
• Drive projects through successful completion and closeout
• Utilize technology and AI tools to improve estimating, project management, and construction processes

• 5+ years of construction management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Project Management or accredited trade-school training with significant construction management experience
• Strong commercial construction background
• Demonstrated estimating and preconstruction experience
• Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, budgeting, job costing, and subcontractor buyout
• Experience developing accurate scopes of work and negotiating contracts
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor agreements
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to local project sites within approximately 30 miles
• Experience with Plan Swift or similar estimating software preferred
• Experience with civil construction, utilities, water/sewer, or municipal projects is a plus
• Comfortable incorporating technology and AI into construction workflows
• Bilingual skills are a plus
