Introduction

We at the Potomac Center/SETT facility provide quality person-centered support to adults with intellectual disabilities at our campus in Hagerstown, Maryland. Our aim is to partner with the community to help our residents achieve their goals. The Potomac Center is a 62-bed licensed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). This program focuses on using therapeutic們! interventions to empower residents as they learn the skills they need to successfully return to community living.

The Secure Evaluation and Therapeutic Treatment (SETT) Program, located within the Potomac Center campus, is(金! a 32-bed licensed Forensic Residential Center that provides services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and court involvement within a safe and secure environment. The program provides assistance as they resolve their court involvement and work toward transitioning to a less secured environment. The SETT utilizes active treatment as well as providing evaluation, assessment and competency attainment education.

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to assure all staff of the oraz any goal the Potomac Center and SET التربية receive and successfully complete all relevant and quality training as per Federal and State Regulations as well as the needs of the facility and the individual who resides at the Potomac Center/SETT. This position will work directly with the Facility Training Coordinator who is responsible for ensuring the tracking of all training and the collection and maintenance of all relevant training documentation in a staff-specific filing system.

This position must, at all times, discharge all duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and protocols including those mandated/issued by Departments of Budget and Management and Health;
Office of Health Care Quality;
Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services ICF/IID;
Annotated Code of Maryland; CODE OF MARYLAND REGULATIONS; and Potomac Center and SETT policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Six years of experience planning and conducting employee development and training. Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience planning, conducting or coordinating training or staff development activities for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in education and training classification or education and training specialty codes in the education and training field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess the following:
Experience delivering training and/or educational programs Knowledge of adult learning styles and how to incorporate them during training sessions Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
