Major Accounts Representative

Description

• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing new business
• Identify and pursue opportunities within national accounts, broker channels, and inbound/web-based leads
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, national account partners, and key decision-makers
• Respond to and convert web-based inquiries into qualified opportunities and closed business
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets
• All other duties assigned

• 5+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or waste/recycling, logistics, or service-based sales
• Experience working with national accounts, brokers, or channel sales
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar preferred)

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a desk.
• Frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, scanner, and other standard office equipment.
• Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, calculator, and other office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, virtually, and through written correspondence.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift or carry items weighing up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret information presented in both electronic and printed formats.
• Occasional out-of-state travel will be required to support customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
• This is a hybrid role.
