We are seeking a detail‑oriented, hardworking, safety‑conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a Utility Worker. The role has great responsibility ensuring that our vehicle fleet complies with federal, state OSHA and CDC standards, and that the fleet always looks its best. You represent the company to the community; attention to detail and care for the fleet is vital.
Candidate Profile- No criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possession of controlled substances within the last five years.
- Must be able to complete and pass pre‑employment performance evaluation, DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening, background investigation, and pre‑employment assessments/tests.
- Two (2) years of experience related to the job tasks or equivalent experience.
- All applicants must possess a Class A or Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsement.
- General knowledge of fuels and lubricants, vehicle and fuel safety procedures, and cleaning materials.
- Able to lift or move up to fifty pounds.
- Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crawl.
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and washing the interior and exterior of each vehicle.
- Reporting end‑of‑day mileage for all vehicles.
- Detail an agreed‑upon number of vehicles per month.
- Checking and maintaining all system fluid levels (oil, DEF, coolant, washer fluid).
- Closing/locking the office and shop end‑of‑day.
- Ensuring vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body‑fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional.
- Detailed record keeping of services performed.
- Inspecting and documenting fleet damage and communicating to the manager/supervisor.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, teamwork area.
- Assisting others as requested.
- Moving vehicles safely between job and work area.
- Other duties assigned.
High school diploma or GED.
