Sauk Valley Community College, a comprehensive community college located in a picturesque rural setting invites applications from innovative individuals for an adjunct CNA faculty position.
Located in rural northwestern Illinois, along the scenic Rock River between the cities of Dixon and Sterling, the College is one hour from Rockford and the Quad Cities and two hours west of Chicago.
Responsibilities:
To be cognizant of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses. Reports directly to the Dean of Health Professions who is the supervisor over the position. The teaching assignment includes lecture, campus lab and clinical instruction for the Nurse Assistant Program.
Qualifications:
Current license as a Registered Nurse (or eligibility for license) in Illinois, two (2) years of experience, Train the Trainer, and an approved evaluator certification or MSN and approved evaluator certification are required.
