Ampersand Therapy is hiring a passionate
School Social Worker
for the 2025–2026 school year. We’re offering full-time and part‑time opportunities, all in‑person, with positions available across elementary school sites.

Schedule:Full‑Time or Part‑Time
Location:In‑person (Illinois)
Start Date:August 2025
Assignment:Elementary school, single‑building roles

• Provide IEP‑based minutes and documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and staff meetings
• Collaborate with school‑based special education teams
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports
• Build relationships with students, families, and school staff
• Support social‑emotional and behavioral needs

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Valid Illinois PEL with a School Social Work endorsement
• Experience in school settings or special education preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus—but not required
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
