Attendance Specialist

We are seeking an Attendance Specialist to join our Central Office/District Wide team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring, managing, and improving student attendance across the district. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting students' academic success through effective attendance strategies.

• Monitor and track student attendance data across all schools within the district.
• Analyze attendance trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement attendance improvement plans.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding attendance policies, procedures, and the importance of regular school attendance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records and databases.
• Prepare reports and presentations for district leadership on attendance trends and initiatives.
• Understand Infinite Campus and its capabilities

• Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly in attendance tracking or student support roles, is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
• Proficiency in using Infinite Campus and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and needs within the district.
