Product Engineer - Sewer Equipment

Dixon, IL.

We are looking for a highly motivated engineer who can deliver quality work and meet deadlines with or without direct supervision. This role involves managing multiple projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams, sales representatives, and our dealer network to ensure successful product line support.

• Lead and mentor a team of Design Engineers focused on Sewer Equipment’s Jetter product line.
• Oversee the design and development of new Jetter products and enhancements to existing equipment.
• Ensure designs meet project scope, performance, safety, and compliance standards.
• Create and review detailed drawings and documentation in accordance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Sales to support product launches and resolve technical challenges.
• Manage multiple design projects, schedules, and resources to achieve goals.
• Drive improvements in safety, manufacturability, quality, integration, and cost.
• Support engineering change processes and provide technical guidance

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution or 10 Years relevant experience
• Preferred 3-5 years of engineering experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and create mechanical designs
• Proficiency in using 2D and 3D CAD design software. Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Vault preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate clearly mechanical concepts and designs
• Highly motivated, detail oriented, and organized
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment to meet deadlines and commitments
• Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently

Total Compensation range (including base pay and bonuses) of $85,000 - $120,000
