Engineering Manager will oversee a team of Product Engineers responsible for designing, developing, and improving our equipment lines. This role ensures engineering projects align with company objectives, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of Engineers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design and development of new products and enhancements to existing equipment.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, and Sales to support product launches and resolve technical challenges.
- Manage engineering resources, schedules, and budgets to achieve project goals.
- Drive standardization of design practices and documentation across the engineering team.
- Utilize CAD tools, MOC Workflows, and ERP systems (Made2
Manage experience a plus) to support design and production workflows. - Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product or process issues.
Reporting Structure:
- Design Engineering (as indirect reports)
- Engineering Support Staff (as indirect reports)
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or product development, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works preferred) and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience in industrial equipment or heavy machinery sectors preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required; advanced degree a plus.

Earning Potential:
- Total compensation package (including base salary and semi‑annual bonus) of $145,000 - $180,000
