Sandblaster

Base pay range

$18.16/hr - $23.61/hr

The Sandblaster is responsible for safely removing debris and imperfections from the unit utilizing the blast booth with steel shot media.

• Blasting tanks, shrouds, and frames to remove dirt, grease, paint, and other built-up material from surfaces
• Set up and operate sandblasting equipment
• Log all work completed
• Turn booth on and off following work procedure orders
• Clean booth as directed
• Proper PPE (person protective equipment) MUST be worn while in booth
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL
• Night Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm- 6:30am

• Pay Range of $18.16 - $23.61
• $2.00/hour night shift differential
• Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2024 payout was $4/hour. Payouts are based on overall company profitability, and attendance
• $500 sign on bonus, paid after 90 days of employment

• Must be able to work as part of a team

• Previous sandblasting experience preferred

• Prolonged periods of standing and sandblasting
• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work
• Must be able to push a rolling load of parts.
• Must be able to kneel and crouch and climb ladders
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be at least 18 years old
