LPN or RN to attend school child

Overview

Job Summary:

School Nurse (Pediatric — 1:1 Care). We are looking for a caring and dependable nurse to provide 1:1 support for a young child in a school setting. The nurse will accompany the child during the school day to ensure safety and assist with medical needs as required. Current schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 AM — 10:30 AM, with potential for additional hours as the child’s school day and needs expand. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working with children in an engaging, supportive environment.

• Provide skilled nursing care according to the care plan
• Monitor health status, track vital signs, and administer medications/treatments
• Collaborate with family and care team to ensure the best outcomes
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license
• CPR required (Castor is able to assist with internal certification if needed)
• Pediatric or young adult experience preferred (but not required)
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach
