If so, this is the opportunity you're looking for! Idea Tek is seeking a Door-to-Door Sales Representative to join our team and help bring internet freedom to growing communities.

You’ll be walking neighborhoods, introducing Idea Tek to homes that may have seen our name but haven’t yet made the switch. If you’re energized by being out in the field, love a good challenge, and want a job where your effort directly impacts your success—this is the role for you.

We offer a competitive base salary with commission based on sales conversions. This position is also eligible for a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus paid after 60 days of successful employment.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own your territory
    :
    Introduce Idea Tek’s high‑speed fiber internet to residents in existing or expansion service areas
  • Be the first impression
    :
    Start the conversation, build trust, and explain why our service makes a difference
  • Drive sign‑ups
    :
    Use follow‑ups, education, and scheduling tools to guide residents through the sign‑up process
  • Support outreach efforts
    :
    Join your team at events, tailgates, and other community‑based promotions
  • Track activity and outcomes to help optimize your time and meet performance goals
  • Represent Idea Tek with professionalism, positivity, and persistence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of door‑to‑door or face‑to‑face sales experience
  • Telecom industry knowledge or prior experience in internet/phone services
  • Track record of achieving performance goals in a customer‑facing role
  • Motivation to earn commission and grow with a values‑driven company
A Day in the Life

You’ll start your day reviewing your plan, syncing with your team, and prepping for the field. Then you’re off—knocking on doors, meeting people who may have seen our name but haven’t yet experienced our service. You’ll act as the first impression of Idea Tek—walking neighborhoods, engaging in face‑to‑face conversations, and helping residents understand why now is the time to make the switch.

You’ll build trust on the doorstep, manage leads through follow‑up texts and calls, and guide residents through the sign‑up and installation process. Some people will be ready to switch immediately. Others will take time—and that’s where your consistency and creativity come in. At the end of each day, you’ll know your work made a real impact—one doorstep at a time.
