Job Summary
UCC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting functions within a construction environment. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP experience and in-depth knowledge of contractual accounting. This role requires expertise in Accounts Payable, and financial reporting for both standalone and consolidated entities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage general ledger and overall accounting operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial reports
- Handle contractual accounting, including retention and advance payments
- Record and review manual journal entries with proper documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Utilize SAP for accounting processes and reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams to monitor project financial performance
- Support internal and external audits
- Arabic speaker - Mandatory
- Strong SAP experience (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Solid understanding of contractual accounting practices
Experience in consolidated financial reporting - Strong analytical and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
