We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the integrity of accounting information. This role involves analyzing financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports, and supporting all the financial processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain, review and reconcile the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Record journal entries for accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation and other financial transactions.
- Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statement reports and supporting schedules for internal use and external audits; ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
- Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow, ensuring proper fund allocation for operations and other payables.
- Conduct detailed account analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Work closely with the Accounts Manager in preparing financial reports and strategic analysis.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles within a corporate environment.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to interpret financial data and recommend actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, ensuring all financial reports are error-free.
