Job Description:

We are looking to recruit an Accountant for our office in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and providing support to other departments. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, and excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices. They should also possess strong research and problem-solving skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and be able to work with minimal supervision.

• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, payroll, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with accepted accounting principles
• Develop and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Support month-end close activities such as account reconciliations, journal entries and analysis of financial results
• Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Analyze business operations to identify opportunities for improvement
• Assist with forecasting cash flow needs by reviewing historical trends
