We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring the timely preparation of financial statements and reports, and providing general accounting support to the organization. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

• Manage accounts receivable/payable functions including invoice processing, payments, reconciliations and collections
• Prepare daily bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Produce monthly financial statements and reports
• Analyze financial information to identify potential areas of improvement
• Ensure accuracy of all entries into the accounting system
• Assist with budgeting activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience working as an accountant or in a similar role
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) required
• Excellent communication skills (written & spoken) required
