African Contract Accountant

African Contract Accountant in Doha, Qatar

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced African Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for a challenging and dynamic work environment.

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Conduct monthly and yearly closing processes
• Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues
• Assist with budget planning and forecasting
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
• Provide financial advice to management on business decisions

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the Middle East region
• Experience working on contracts preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
