Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant in Doha, Qatar

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, and performing basic accounting tasks.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Record and maintain accurate financial data in the company's accounting software
• Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as recording expenses and managing accounts payable/receivable
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g. Quick Books) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• A willingness to learn and take on new tasks
