Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the fixed asset register ensuring accurate recording classification capitalization and reconciliation of assets
- Oversee asset acquisitions transfers revaluation retirement and disposal in accordance with IFRS and organizational policies
- Prepare monthly capital asset continuity schedules depreciation reports and fixed asset reconciliation statements
- Monitor capital expenditure CAPEX asset utilization and financial reporting accuracy
- Supervise physical asset verification asset tagging inventory counts and reconciliation of physical records with ERP data
- Ensure accurate reconciliation between General Ledger balances and inventory SCM ERP records
- Manage inventory accounting controls investigate discrepancies and coordinate periodic stock verification
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Develop and implement asset management policies procedures and internal controls
- Lead and supervise the Fixed Assets Inventory team ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- CA / CPA / CFA / MBA in Finance.
- Minimum 15 years of accounting experience.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in Fixed Assets & Inventory management.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the hospital/healthcare sector.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the GCC.
- Strong experience managing high-volume fixed assets and inventory using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, asset capitalization, depreciation, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to mobilize within the specified timeline and meet Qatar residency/employment requirements.
